Ranunculaceae (buttercup family)
Ranunculaceae turn up in the angiosperm phylogenetic tree among the "early-diverging" dicots, separate from the eudicots.
The family includes buttercups, anemones, etc. Not represented on Guam.
Caltha palustris, marsh marigold (the yellow flowers), in a bog in
the Austrian Alps, near Lünersee.
